Reviewer Qualifications

Reviewers are licensed physicians and embryology staff with experience across reproductive endocrinology, gynecology, andrology, and assisted reproductive technologies. They practice within the OCC and Ariel Center healthcare network under Mexican Secretaría de Salud oversight.

Review Scope

  • Clinical accuracy of definitions, indications, and risks.
  • Alignment with recognized society guidance (ASRM, ESHRE, WHO).
  • Balanced presentation of benefits, limitations, and alternatives.
  • Plain-language readability for international patient audiences.

Review Cadence

Content pages are reviewed at least annually and sooner when new professional guidance meaningfully affects a topic. See our Medical Review Policy for the full process.

Reviewer Roles

Content is reviewed by clinicians in the following roles within the Hospital Cyntar reproductive medicine team. Named profiles with credentials and licensure numbers will be added as each reviewer authorizes publication.

  • Lead Reproductive Endocrinologist — oversight of IVF, ovulation induction, and complex-case content.
  • Gynecologist (Reproductive Medicine) — review of diagnosis, uterine, and endometriosis-related content.
  • Andrologist / Urologist — review of male-factor evaluation and treatment content.
  • Embryology Laboratory Director — review of laboratory, fertilization, PGT, and cryopreservation content.
  • Anesthesiology Lead — review of sedation, retrieval, and safety content.
  • Genetic Counseling Lead — review of PGT, donor screening, and inheritance content.
