Understanding All-Inclusive Fertility Packages

"All-inclusive" means different things at different clinics. This page describes what to verify before signing any package agreement.

Frequently Included

  • Initial consultation and cycle monitoring.
  • Egg retrieval and anesthesia.
  • Standard embryology (fertilization, culture).
  • One embryo transfer.

Frequently NOT Included

  • Medications (highly variable in cost).
  • ICSI, assisted hatching, PGT-A, or embryo glue.
  • Cryopreservation and annual storage.
  • Additional frozen embryo transfers.
  • Donor egg, sperm, or gestational carrier fees.
  • Flights, lodging, ground transport, meals.

Refund and Cancellation Terms

Ask what happens if a cycle is cancelled before retrieval, if no viable embryos develop, or if travel plans require rescheduling. Get answers in writing.

Multi-Cycle Packages

Some clinics offer multi-cycle bundles or refund guarantees. Read eligibility criteria carefully — patients who do not meet criteria often cannot use the package as advertised.
